Ascott Expands in Chennai with Citadines Launch in Oragadam
The Ascott Limited has announced the signing of Citadines Oragadam Chennai, a new 113-unit serviced residence, in partnership with Boss Inn International Palace Pvt Ltd
This marks Ascott’s third property in Chennai and its first venture into the fast-growing industrial suburb of Oragadam.
Located in Chennai’s western corridor, Oragadam has emerged as a major industrial and logistics hub, home to more than 22 Fortune 500 companies. With infrastructure upgrades and smart city initiatives underway, the area is witnessing rapid commercial and residential development.
Citadines Oragadam Chennai is being developed to cater to the rising number of business travellers and long-stay guests.
The project is being developed by Boss Inn International Palace Pvt Ltd, marking the company’s debut in the hospitality sector.
It is led by V S Nathan, who brings over three decades of global experience in hospitality, finance, trading, and technology.
Speaking on the occasion, Hoshang Garivala, Country General Manager, The Ascott Limited, said, “Oragadam is a vital industrial engine of Chennai, and we’re proud to introduce the Citadines brand to this dynamic location. Our expansion into Chennai’s western corridor reflects our focus on delivering high-quality living experiences aligned with evolving market demands.”
V S Nathan added, “We are delighted to collaborate with The Ascott Limited for our maiden hospitality project. With Oragadam’s rapid industrialisation and excellent connectivity, we believe Citadines Oragadam Chennai will be a preferred choice for professionals and long-stay travellers.”
With this addition, Ascott now has three operational properties in Chennai: Citadines OMR Chennai, Somerset Greenways Chennai, and the upcoming Citadines Oragadam Chennai, offering full citywide coverage across southern, eastern, and now western zones of the city. The new property will offer strong connectivity to the existing Chennai International Airport and the upcoming Parandur International Airport.
