The agreement was signed in the presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma. The development of a 250-key Taj hotel will entail a comprehensive renovation and repositioning of exiting 150 keys and the addition of a new inventory of 100 keys.

Located in the heart of the city, the 250‑key Taj Guwahati will be housed in the expanded land parcel of over 9 acres. The hotel will feature a selection of specialty restaurants, expansive banqueting and meeting facilities and the brand’s signature J Wellness Circle, catering to both business and leisure travellers.
