Shekhar Chandra joins ECKO Hotels and Resorts as the new GM – Operations and Pre-Opening

ECKO Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Shekhar Chandra its General Manager – Operations & Pre-Opening

With more than 20 years of illustrious experience in the hotel industry, Shekhar has held executive roles with prestigious companies such as Royal Orchid Hotels, Wyndham Worldwide, Radisson, Hilton Hotels, and Ministry of Sound

Shekhar is a dynamic and results-driven professional who has continuously shown proficiency in increasing revenue, improving operational effectiveness, and providing exceptional guest pleasure.  His ability to effectively oversee multi-departmental operations and his strategic emphasis on profitability and high-quality service have resulted in the successful adoption of creative projects that improve visitor experiences, expedite procedures, and foster positive company cultures.

Shekhar graduated from Maharaja Agrasen Himalayan University in Garhwal with a postgraduate degree.  As ECKO Hotels & Resorts grows its portfolio in important Indian destinations, his appointment comes at a critical juncture. 

In his new position, he will be in charge of managing pre-opening and operational activities, guaranteeing operational excellence, and maintaining the brand’s dedication to sustainability, individuality, community involvement, and technology integration.
