Registration and hotel reservations are now available for the 2025 Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC®), the largest and longest-running, nonprofit event of its kind. Produced by Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP®), HITEC 2025 will be held on June 16–19 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Ind. USA.

In its 50+ years, HITEC brings together industry professionals from all over the world to explore the latest technology trends, best practices and market solutions in the hospitality industry. The exhibit hall hosts 320+ companies displaying a range of products and services to support the hospitality technology industry to nearly 6,000 industry professionals in attendance.

Beyond the exhibition floor, HITEC features an education program featuring hospitality technology-focused content presented in a variety of formats by expert presenters. The program is planned by the HITEC Advisory Council, a group of industry practitioners selected by HFTP leadership for their experience and expertise. This year’s council is chaired by Katie Lee, CIO for AKA Hotels + Hotel Residences.

For 2025, HFTP invites industry thought leaders to submit their event-exclusive, brand neutral session ideas to the advisory council via a Call for Proposals process. The submission period runs from January 8–29.

My vision for the educational programming at HITEC 2025 focuses on innovation, inclusivity, and practical application, says Lee. We will aim to spotlight technologies like AI and IoT, emphasizing their real-world impact on the industry. The programming will also foster diverse perspectives and focus on leadership and talent development, preparing the next generation of tech leaders. Ultimately, our goal is that HITEC 2025 will ensure attendees are left equipped for the future of hospitality technology.

Returning in 2025 is the Entrepreneur 20X (E20X) startup pitch competition. E20X features ambitious start-ups presenting their innovative hospitality technology concepts to a room full of HITEC attendees and a panel of expert judges. Participants compete for the chance to be recognized as one of the top startup business concepts, voted on by the panel of expert judges (Judge’s Choice Award) and the audience (People’s Choice Award). The opportunity to apply for this year’s competition will open soon via the HITEC website.
