We did the 4-day, 3-night budget safari with Golden Trips Safari, and it was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish!

Our guide and driver, Joseph, truly made the trip unforgettable. He was incredibly knowledgeable, always sharing interesting facts and insights about the wildlife and the parks. On top of that, he was kind, professional, and genuinely lovely to be around – we couldn’t have asked for a better guide!

Our cook was also an inspiring woman who impressed us every day with delicious meals, despite being out in the bush. The food was fresh, varied, and full of flavor — a real highlight of the trip.

There was a small issue with transportation back to our hotel initially, but both Joseph and the company acted quickly to resolve it, which we really appreciated. Their responsiveness showed a true commitment to customer care.

We highly recommend Golden Trips Safari for anyone looking for an authentic, well-organized, and welcoming safari experience. Thank you again for such a memorable adventure!

The flexibility and reliability of our Driver guide Dan was perfect. Our 5 day Safari in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro has been incredible with truly unique experiences such as witnessing a cheetah kill and the great migration. We would certainly use Golden Tours services again and specifically call out Dan’s great service.

My Golden Trips 3 day 3 parks Fly/Drive Safari to Serengeti/Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire national park was the experience of a lifetime – i went mid range….the organisation and communication through Irene was great and Gasper the Maasai guide/driver was friendly, knowledgeable and could spot animals from miles away. The transport by plane was an experience, the accomodation/meals beyond expectation and the Safari wagon great….but there are some bumpy roads. Gasper is a great driver and knows the area well….highly recommended…..fantastic experience.

We had an amazing trip. Our guide, Gasper, was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable- and was great at spotting the animals.

On our trip, he made sure we saw all of the ‘big five’ and the ‘ugly five’, as well as everything in between. He would make frequent stops and let us take pictures of anything we re requested from animals to environments.

The only negatives we had were that the vehicle had some damage while chasing a cheetah, but that wasn’t his fault, and that there was some miscommunication about lodging in the final night and they had to shuffle us around some.

I highly recommend Gasper and Golden Trips Tanzania. It was an amazing experience.

Our overall experience has been incredible, exceeding all expectations. The service provided by Golden Trips has been of the highest quality, unbeatable. They are a company that is attentive to their customers at all times and always strives to excel in their service. We experienced this from the very first moment, as we interacted with Joel, the manager of Golden Trips, who was in charge of organizing our trip and communicating with us.
The logistics and accommodations were first-rate as well.
Our phenomenal guides for Kilimanjaro, Dickson and Noah, provided us with an experience that allowed us to admire the grandeur of the place thanks to their knowledge and experience, as well as overcome the challenges that this adventure entails. They, along with the rest of the team, accompanied and supported us at all times during the journey, and made it easy for us to successfully reach the summit of Kilimanjaro.
And finally, Gaspar, our expert guide, made the safari a 10/10! Attentive and with an admirable knowledge of the terrain, he explained all the details and interesting facts about the animals and landscapes we saw on the tours. Thanks to his experience and commitment, we were fortunate to see a huge variety of wildlife in 5 days, including all the Big 5!!!

We want to take a moment to shout out Golden Trips Tanzania, the incredible tour company that made these 6 days fun, safe, and memorable. They even surprised us with a bubbly celebration at the base to mark reaching the summit! 🥂

🧭 Guides: Our guides, Bob and Noah, went above and beyond to make sure we felt safe and comfortable. They carried our bags when we were struggling, always had snacks and heat packs ready, and kept us motivated when exhaustion kicked in. Bob, our lead guide, was exceptional, his experience got us to the summit safely, and he even helped arrange a private room/shower for us at Horombo when we needed it.

🌍 Local Company: This is a small, growing Tanzanian-owned company that employs local staff and uplifts the community. Supporting a local business over the big US/EU-based companies was something really important to us.

👨‍🍳 Food: Our private chef, Cheeks, was unbelievably resourceful – whipping up three fresh meals a day using only what he carried up the mountain. He was super accommodating with dietary needs and made sure we had the fuel to get through each day. Meals were even delivered with a waiter – on a mountain!

🎶 Vibes: The entire team brought so much good energy: singing songs, keeping our spirits high, and making the experience one we’ll never forget.

💰 Pricing: We booked this tour after getting quotes from several other companies and felt that the price was extremely reasonable for the value we got.

We cannot recommend Golden Trips Tanzania enough! 🏔

Trip of three people. When we contacted the agency, their response was very quick and they were immediately available to meet our every need. We encountered no problems whatsoever. Our driver, Evans, was very funny and patient in answering all our questions. The trip with him was very satisfying and exciting. I highly recommend this agency, very reliable and serious.

This was a surprising and perfect safari trip, and we have absolutely no regrets about the entire experience. If there’s a next time, we would definitely choose this team again.
There are at least three standout advantages of this safari team:

Despite the competitive pricing, everything from the vehicle quality to the guide’s expertise in animal spotting and extensive knowledge, as well as the owner’s meticulous control over the itinerary, was first-class.
2. Transparent Costs and Attentive Service
The cost of our safari package was clearly itemized, covering accommodation, park fees, and transportation, with all expenses transparently listed. The team provided heartfelt and professional service, with our two guides fully dedicated to helping us spot animals and ensuring a great experience.
3. High Standards of Quality Control
The safari team maintained strict quality control throughout the trip. We were able to communicate directly with the owner to adjust or add to our itinerary. The owner was highly attentive, providing a detailed briefing before the safari and a comprehensive review session at the end.

We had a great safari with Golden Trips and our guides Kulet (Kenya) and Ombeni (Tanzania). Kulet is obviously a very experienced guide, was incredibly respectful of the animals and other groups, and great at spotting animals. Ombeni was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to answer every question we had about the animals, country and customs. He is a very fun guy and a great dancer! Joel was very accommodating with us as our plans changed many times before the trip started. I liked that they presented several options for lodging and let us choose exactly which ones we wanted to stay at. Overall we saw everything we wanted to see including 3 black rhinos close up in Kenya and 4 in Ngorongoro crater (Tanzania) at a distance. Both the cars we rode in were very nice, obviously well taken care of, and our second car even had a refrigerated cooler in it.

Dickson, Bobi, thank you for being our lights during all this crazy adventure. You gave us the power we needed and all the knowledge we was looking for about your culture and this beautiful Kili’s nature.
Chicks, you feed us like two queens. Thanks for being this 5 stars mountain cooker that you are. What a pleasure to receive so good breakfasts, lunches and dinners with the beautiful smile of Ay, our lovely waiter.
Finally, how we’ll succeed without you, Adam, Alex, Phile, Joshua, Shukuru, Good Luck, Ayubu. Thanks for caring us during all the way with the same smiles, power and love. More than porters, you took our hearts. Thanks everybody for being the Kili family that we never expected to meet.

We are grateful that we chosed to climb Kilimanjaro with Golden trips and his incredible team. Thanks to our two guides , Dickson and Bobi, that never stopped to give us power for the peak and knowledge about all the beautiful nature we can found there. We’ll also never succeed without our amazing 5 stars cooker, Chicks, with these powerful and lovely meals. Meals that we always receive with the beautiful smile of our wonderful waiter, Ay. I was expecting to be wowed by my safari, but my experience with Golden tours exceeded all my expectations! From the beginning they were always quick to respond and patiently answered all my questions. Their prices were very competitive and they made sure all the parks I wanted to see were included. I was greeted at the airport and then the magical trip began!
Evens was a fabulous guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife, the different environments, and the cultures of each park we visited- Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara and Arusha NP. I saw EVERY animal i hoped to see and many more. He found animals others were not seeing.
I can’t recommend Golden Trips more highly for their responsiveness, value, and skill in providing a magical experience!

Climbing Kilimanjaro with this tour operator was an extraordinary experience, entirely due to the exceptional team that accompanied us. From the very beginning, the professionalism and expertise of our main guide, Dickson, and assistant guide, Jackson, shone through, ensuring we always felt safe and well-supported. But beyond their skills, it was their warmth and camaraderie that truly made a difference—they quickly became more than just guides; they became our friends and felt like family.

Throughout the climb, Dickson and Jackson went above and beyond to show us every stunning viewpoint along the trail, ensuring we captured the most breathtaking photos of our journey. Their deep knowledge of the mountain enriched our experience, and their enthusiasm was contagious. They weren’t just there to guide us; they genuinely cared about making our climb unforgettable.

My niece and I had the best trip with Golden Trips Tanzania.

Everything from booking and information before the trip to our driver and information while on the trip was excellent. We couldn’t have wished for more.

We had a 4 days trip and visited to different National Parks, and it was amazing. We saw many different animals in Mikumi even Leopards.
Nyerere National park is very different for what we expected, but the nature was really beautiful. Nyerere might not be a place I would visit again, I like the open spaces more, and Nyerere has a lot of bushes and trees that made it difficult to spot the animals. But we did see a lot of hippos and giraffes. And was amazed by the beautiful nature.

The camps we stayed at were great, but the best thing was our driver, he was very kind and had a lot of knowledge about the animals.

Through the whole trip we were taking care of and checked up on. We really had a perfect trip and I would definitely recommend using this company.
