African Sensations is a highly personalised, full service responsible and boutique DMC offering bespoke and upmarket travel destinations and products in Southern & Eastern Africa, including guiding services to small groups and FITs from overseas markets including the Nordic, UK, and Europe. Head office based in Cape Town with sales office in Nairobi.

We will have seen the majority of our products and will know the owners/managers personally. The website is our showcase, where the emphasis is limited to only those specialist products that conform to the highest level of responsible and sustainable travel ethics.

African Sensations will run online promotional campaigns in key markets and work with known local travel trade partners to provide support in selling country destinations and products. In terms of marketing, the typical strategies of African Sensations will be about building brand awareness and introducing B2B partners to chosen suppliers who maintain responsible business ethics.

African Sensations focuses on working with specialised and responsible suppliers in the market with our distinctive USP’s, including wine tours, local food, markets, boutique hotels/guesthouses and fine dining experiences, sustainable/ecological game safaris and animal sanctuaries, activity based arrangements (hiking, walking, cycling), historical encounters, and cultural programmes (music, theatre, botanical gardens, townships).

African Sensations business mix is bespoke from B2B overseas tour operator partners. The business mix is broadly 50% small groups (10-20 pax) and 50% FIT’s (1-10 pax).

We are members of SATSA (Southern Africa Tourism Services Association) and ATTA (African Travel and Tourism Association) as well as the African Hub.
