Korean Air and Asiana Airlines host joint aviation career program
Korean Air and Asiana Airlines celebrated Children’s Day by hosting a joint aviation education program at the National Aviation Museum of Korea in Seoul, inspiring youth to explore careers in aviation.
Approximately 200 students attended the event, where volunteer pilots and cabin crew from both airlines shared firsthand experiences and insights into careers in aviation.
The program offered students an opportunity to engage directly with aviation professionals, gain practical career perspectives and explore future pathways in the industry.
“The students’ enthusiasm was truly inspiring,” said a Korean Air pilot volunteer. “We hope this experience encourages some of them to pursue their own dreams in aviation, and join us as colleagues in the air.”
An Asiana Airlines cabin crew volunteer added, “It was meaningful to help plant the seeds for these students’ future aspirations.”
As Korean Air and Asiana Airlines move toward integration, the two carriers have been conducting joint educational volunteer programs for youth at least once a month as part of their broader community outreach efforts.
Through these initiatives, the airlines aim to foster future aviation talent, strengthen employee collaboration, and expand their shared community outreach efforts.
Korean Air and Asiana Airlines will continue to advance joint community programs that create meaningful public engagement while building synergy ahead of their integration.
