JetBlue and Barclays Roll Out Enhanced Benefits, Now Available for Premier Cardmembers
JetBlue and Barclays Roll Out Enhanced Benefits, Now Available for Premier Cardmembers
JetBlue today launched its new and enhanced benefits for the JetBlue Premier World Elite Mastercard®, issued by Barclays US Consumer Bank, bringing together its most valuable and differentiated travel benefits into a more valuable card experience. Cardmembers gain access to new statement credits, accelerated Mosaic status and expanded travel rewards, all while maintaining the same annual fee.
Starting today, customers can apply for the JetBlue Premier Card and if approved, unlock a limited-time offer of 100,000 TrueBlue points after spending $5,000 and paying the annual fee in the first three months. TrueBlue points can be redeemed for JetBlue flights, travel with partner airlines and travel purchases through TrueBlue Travel™, helping cardmembers turn everyday purchases into their next getaway.
“At a time when many travel cards are raising fees or scaling back benefits, we’re focused on delivering greater value to our customers,” said Ed Pouthier, vice president of loyalty and personalization, JetBlue. “Our refreshed Premier Card brings together the most valuable elements of the JetBlue and TrueBlue experience by combining the benefits our customers already love with new enhancements to create a more elevated travel experience, all without increasing the annual fee.”
Starting today, Premier cardmembers can now enjoy the following new and improved benefits:
JetBlue Premier Companion Pass Statement Credits: Travel is better together. Cardmembers can earn a companion pass (up to $500 value) after spending $15,000 in a calendar year and unlock an additional companion pass (up to $1,500 value) after $75,000 in annual spend. Simply book and pay for your companion’s trip on your reservation, apply the pass, and receive a statement credit after you both travel.
25-Tile Bonus: Get a head start on status. Cardmembers will receive a 25-tile bonus after the beginning of each calendar year, putting them halfway to Mosaic 1 and the premium perks that come with it.
TrueBlue Travel Statement Credits: Make more of every trip beyond the flight. Cardmembers can earn up to $300 in annual statement credits for every dollar spent on qualifying TrueBlue Travel purchases when using the card for hotels, car rentals, cruises and more, making it easier for cardmembers to earn and use this benefit. Each qualifying purchase must be $1 or more, less returns and credits to receive this benefit.
15% Redemption Rebate: Make your points go further. Cardmembers will receive 15% redemption rebate of their TrueBlue ® points back on award flight redemptions, whether flying JetBlue or its partner airlines.
The JetBlue Premier Card continues to offer these enhanced benefits at an unchanged annual fee of $499 (and $150 for each authorized user). These updates reinforce JetBlue’s ongoing investment in its co-branded credit card portfolio to give customers an opportunity to earn rewards faster and enjoy a more premium travel experience.
Welcome Home, Boston
This summer, JetBlue will expand BlueHouse — its signature lounge experience designed to feel like a home away from home — to Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) Terminal C. BlueHouse Boston will feature a residential design with a Boston twist, blending New England coastal influences with JetBlue’s iconic identity. The space will include exposed brick, copper accents and curated artwork, alongside thoughtful details that reflect the city’s character.
Customers will enjoy a menu of fresh, locally inspired food prepared in an in-house kitchen and a bespoke beverage program designed to showcase the best of New England.
Premier cardmembers traveling on eligible fares receive complimentary access for themselves and one guest to BlueHouse, including the recently opened lounge at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and the upcoming Boston location.
As BlueHouse expands, JetBlue continues to invest in premium experiences that deliver elevated travel while staying true to its approach of premium without pretension.
Additional Benefits Available
JetBlue is also now offering ClassPass credits for Premier cardmembers who can enroll to receive 14 monthly credits to use on fitness classes and wellness experiences at studios, spas, salons, gyms and more nationwide.
