IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of a management agreement with Sakthi Elegant Towers India Pvt Ltd to develop Holiday Inn Chennai Vandalur
Scheduled to open in 2026, the new hotel will add 200 keys to IHG’s growing presence in South India. Driven by market demand, continues to expand its footprint in key Indian cities.

The hotel will feature the brand-transforming Open Lobby hallmark, a design-led and versatile space where guests can choose how they connect and relax.
Strategically located just a short drive from Chennai International Airport in the Vandalur area, Holiday Inn Chennai Vandalur will be in close proximity to the city’s main industrial centers, home to major global corporations. Once opened, the hotel will join IHG’s portfolio of 58 Holiday Inn hotels across South West Asia, Middle East and Africa region.
