Hilton Goa Resort has announced 4 major leadership developments, reinforcing its managerial capabilities across the region as it readies for future growth. The resort has appointed Argha Dutta as Operations Manager and promoted three long-serving team members into cluster roles: Rebecca Rodrigues as Cluster Human Resources Manager, Yogendra Shirodkar as Cluster Security Manager and Swapnil Kholkar as Cluster IT Manager. These developments extend support to the pre-opening Hilton Garden Inn Goa Calangute and reflect Hilton’s continued commitment to nurturing talent.

Leadership Expansion Across Operations, HR, IT and Security

The appointment of Argha Dutta brings seasoned operational expertise to Hilton Goa Resort. Argha began his hospitality journey with The Oberoi Hotels and went on to assume leadership roles at Hyatt Hotels, Marriott Hotels and Radisson Hotels, strengthening his cross-functional capabilities and people-first approach.

Rebecca Rodrigues’ promotion acknowledges her impactful contribution to talent development and organisational culture. Rebecca began her career with Radisson Hotels – Country Inn & Suites, Panjim, before moving to Hyatt Hotels, where she managed two pre-openings and a brand conversion during her 8.5-year tenure. Since joining Hilton Goa Resort in February 2024, she has driven strategic HR initiatives and earned accolades including the Operators Choice Award – South India at the 2024 Hilton HR and Finance Conference and the Leader of the Year 2024 award at Hilton Goa Resort.

With over 16 years of hospitality IT experience, Swapnil Kholkar’s elevation to Cluster IT Manager positions him at the helm of technology operations for four Hilton properties, including the pre-opening Hilton Garden Inn Goa Calangute. His career includes roles at Grand Hyatt Goa, Hyatt Centric Goa, Country Inn & Suites by Carlson and The Lalit Golf & Spa Resort Goa. A Diploma holder in Computer Science Engineering and a Microsoft Certified IT Professional, Swapnil is recognised for his strong technical capability in PMS, POS, network systems and cybersecurity.

Yogendra Shirodkar’s promotion to Cluster Security Manager reflects his 15-year journey in safety and security across brands such as Taj, Hyatt and Zuri before joining Hilton. Rising through the ranks from Security Executive to Assistant Manager – Security and later Security Manager, he will now oversee safety and compliance for Hilton Goa Resort and Hilton Garden Inn Goa Calangute. Yogendra’s recognitions include Executive of the Month and Executive of the Year 2019 at DoubleTree by Hilton Goa – Panaji and Leader of the Year 2023 at Hilton Goa Resort.
