Global Hospitality Conclave celebrates 10 Years & 90 years of The Oberoi Group
The 10th Global Hospitality Conclave (GHC), held at The Oberoi, New Delhi, marked a significant milestone as it celebrated a decade of thought leadership and collaboration among alumni of The Oberoi Group
This year’s conclave also paid tribute to Rai Bahadur Mohan Singh Oberoi, founder of The Oberoi Group, while commemorating 90 years of the Group’s excellence in hospitality.
Founded and driven by alumni of the erstwhile Oberoi School of Hotel Management (OSHM)—now known as The Oberoi Centre for Learning & Development (OCLD)—GHC has grown into a distinguished platform for dialogue, innovation, and networking in the global hospitality space.
Addressing the gathering, Arjun Oberoi, Executive Chairman, The Oberoi Group, stated, “We are privileged to honour 90 years of excellence—an extraordinary journey that began with the vision and passion of our founder, Rai Bahadur M.S. Vikram Oberoi, CEO, The Oberoi Group, added, “This milestone is not just a celebration but a moment of gratitude—to our founder and to everyone who has carried his vision forward. The conclave allows us to reflect on our shared journey and reaffirm our commitment to excellence, service, and innovation.”
Sudhir Gupta, GHC Chair and Executive Chairman, TLC Digitech, highlighted, “Global Hospitality Conclave has grown into a unique platform for knowledge-sharing and networking among Oberoi alumni, bound by shared values of excellence and integrity. This year, it stands as a proud salute to 90 years of timeless hospitality.”
A highlight of the conclave was the Rai Bahadur M.S. Oberoi Memorial Lecture, delivered by Dr. Ashwani Kumar, former Union Law Minister and Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India. His address paid homage to the enduring legacy of the Group’s founder and his transformative impact on Indian hospitality.
