Traveling to the UK for work? Starting April 2, 2025, all European nationals traveling to the UK will need an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA). This applies to both visitors and those passing through the UK to another destination. Online applications open on March 5, 2025.

An ETA is a simple online authorization that allows short stays of up to six months for tourism, business, study, or medical treatment. You can apply for an ETA online through a simple application process.
