DRC closes airspace to Rwanda
The DRC has closed its airspace to Rwandan-registered aircraft.
Due to the airspace closure, RwandAir had rerouted affected flight paths, the carrier said in a statement.
According to chimpreports.com, the airspace closure may disrupt RwandAir flights to the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands, Turkey, Gabon, Cameroon, Central African Republic and Nigeria.
“We are working to provide the safest and most efficient alternatives while minimising inconvenience to our passengers,” the airline added.
