Hilton Hyderabad Genome Valley Resort & Spa has announced the appointment of Abhishek Bahadur as its new Commercial Director

With 17 years of experience across some of India’s most respected hospitality brands, Abhishek brings a proven track record in driving integrated commercial strategy, market expansion and high value stakeholder relationships. In his role, he will lead the resort’s overall commercial function, overseeing sales, marketing and revenue management, with a clear focus on accelerating growth across key segments including leisure, weddings and MICE. 

Abhishek joins from Marriott International, where he served as Director of Sales & Marketing, successfully leading multi-channel commercial initiatives and strengthening the resort’s positioning across both retail and MICE segments through a strategic blend of digital, partnerships and PR-led interventions. 

His professional journey includes key roles with JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity, The Leela Palaces Hotels & Resorts, The Oberoi and Trident Gurgaon, The Claridges New Delhi and ITC Hotels, where he has consistently built and nurtured strong networks across corporate, travel trade and luxury clientele. 

At Hilton Hyderabad Genome Valley Resort & Spa, Abhishek has been instrumental since the pre-opening phase, playing a pivotal role in shaping the resort’s commercial DNA. He has led the development of the go-to-market strategy, established pricing and segment frameworks and built a robust foundation across distribution channels. His early interventions have been critical in unlocking key business opportunities, particularly in the weddings and MICE segments, while also setting the tone for a strong digital and branded market presence.

He continues to drive momentum by strengthening market visibility, deepening strategic partnerships, and aligning commercial efforts with the resort’s long-term positioning as a premier destination for experiential stays and landmark celebrations.
