A dynamic and visionary leader, Utsa brings over two decades of experience in luxury hospitality, distinguished by her expertise in operational excellence, guest-centric service, and strategic leadership.
An alumna of St. Xavier’s Institution, Kolkata, Utsa began her hospitality journey with Hyatt Hotels, dedicating nearly two decades to honing her craft across diverse leadership roles. Her career spans key assignments at Hyatt Regency Kolkata, Hyatt Regency Pune, Park Hyatt Goa Resort & Spa, Hyatt Place Hampi, and Hyatt Regency Dharamshala Resort, among others.
Before joining The Westin Sohna Resort and Spa, she served as General Manager at Hyatt Regency Dharamshala Resort, where she played a pivotal role in positioning the property as a premier luxury retreat.
Utsa Majumder is a passionate advocate for tourism and women in hospitality. As president of the Himachal Pradesh WICCI Hospitality and Tourism Council, she spearheaded initiatives to promote tourism and empower women in the industry.
Her accolades include being named among the Top 20 General Managers of 2024 by Hospitality Tip of the Day and receiving the General Manager of the Year 2024 award from the Hozpitality Excellence Awards.
Renowned for her people-first leadership, she firmly believes that people are the heart of hospitality and that genuine care is the cornerstone of lasting success.
