The UK government has announced an increase in visa fees for visit, work, and student visas, as well as the ETA, from April 9. 

The following increases will be implemented next month:  

• Visit visa up to six months will increase from £115 (R2 706) to £127 (R2 988) 
• Visit visa up to two years will increase from £432 (R10 164) to £475 (R11 175) 
• Visit visa up to five years will increase from £771 (R18 139) to £848 (R19 951) 
• Visit visa up to 10 years will increase from £963 (R22 656) to £1 059 (R24 915) 
• Transit visa (direct airside transit) will increase from £35 (R824) to £39 (R918) 
• Transit visa (landside transit) will increase from £64 (R1 506) to £70 (R1 647) 
• ETA will increase from £10 (R235) to £16 (R376) 

The increase will also affect other visa types, including British nationality applications.
