The Leela Raviz Destinations has announced a series of key leadership transitions across its properties in Kovalam, Ashtamudi, and the Regional Office in Kochi

These changes reflect the brand’s continued focus on nurturing talent, encouraging internal growth, and building a strong leadership team for the future.

Ayan Paul has been appointed as Executive Assistant Manager at The Leela Raviz Kovalam. Ayan moves from his previous role as Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing, marking a transition from commercial leadership to hotel operations. Ayan’s journey from sales to operations is a testament to his versatile capabilities and the organization’s belief in cross-functional career progression. His transition symbolizes our belief that leadership is cultivated through commitment, trust, and vision—and that the possibilities for growth are vast for those who strive. 

Prem Kamal, previously Regional Director of Sales, Bengaluru, takes over as the new Director of Sales & Marketing for The Leela Raviz Kovalam and Ashtamudi. Prem’s movement is another example of how The Leela Raviz enables leadership mobility within its ecosystem, offering individuals the opportunity to contribute across regions and roles.

Ayan and Prem will work closely in the days ahead, ensuring an effortless and insightful transition of knowledge and responsibilities.

Sarath M.S. has been promoted to Deputy General Manager – Marketing & Special Projects. He will now lead key marketing strategies and special initiatives across the brand. Sarath’s journey is a testament to the power of dedication and vision. With his determination and a deep understanding of our brand ethos, he now takes on a role that places him at the forefront of strategic storytelling and innovation. Sarath’s elevation exemplifies how long-standing dedication, combined with a sharp strategic vision,  has led to the opportunity to lead and shape the future.

Ajin Joy has taken on the expanded role of Regional Director of Sales, based at the Kochi Regional Office. With more than 12 years of experience within our system, Ajin’s journey is an example of career advancement built on institutional knowledge, consistency, and an intrinsic understanding of our brand values.

Hari Mohan continues in his role as Cluster Director of Sales, playing a vital role in guiding commercial strategy across both Kovalam and Ashtamudi. With a wealth of industry knowledge and a reputation for calm, focused leadership, Hari remains instrumental in driving their commercial momentum.  

Melvin James joins the team as Senior Sales Manager at The Leela Raviz Kovalam, bringing fresh energy and expertise to the commercial team. Melvin’s appointment reflects our commitment to not only elevating internal talent but also welcoming new energy that aligns with their values and aspirations.
