Courtyard by Marriott Madurai and Trichy have announced the appointment of Ravi Omkar as the Multi-Property Associate Director of Human Resources

Ravi brings over 25 years of exemplary experience in the hospitality industry. 

Ravi Omkar has been an integral part of globally recognized hospitality brands,  including Accor, Radisson, ITC, and Marriott, where he has consistently demonstrated his  commitment to excellence and innovation in human resources and organizational  development. Beginning his professional journey in training and employee development, he  cultivated a profound understanding of talent management, operational efficiency, and  service excellence—skills that have been instrumental in his transition to Human Resources  leadership. 

In his new role, Ravi oversees HR operations across both Courtyard by Marriott properties, focusing on strategic workforce planning, employee engagement, talent development, and organizational growth. His holistic approach emphasizes the importance of aligning HR initiatives with business objectives, fostering a high-performing, motivated,  and engaged workforce, and building a culture that reflects Marriott’s core values of service excellence, integrity, and collaboration. 

A graduate in Hotel Management and Commerce, Ravi Omkar combines deep industry  insight with business acumen, enabling him to develop innovative HR strategies that  support both the operational and strategic goals of the properties. His leadership  philosophy centers around people as the core of every successful organization, ensuring  that employee experiences are enriched, talent is nurtured, and teams are empowered to  deliver exceptional service to guests.
