Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty has announced the appointment of Rahul Chaudhary as its new Director of Operations
With over 20 years of experience across premium and luxury hospitality brands, Rahul brings a proven track record of leading diverse operational portfolios in both resort and city hotel environments. A graduate in Hotel Management from the Asia Pacific Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, he began his career in 2007 and has since developed deep expertise in food and beverage operations, large-scale events, and multi-departmental hotel management.
In his new role, Rahul will oversee day-to-day hotel operations, working closely with teams across departments to enhance guest journeys, optimise operational processes, and support the hotel’s continued growth across leisure, MICE, and culinary experiences.
He began his journey with Hyatt in 2010 at Grand Hyatt Goa and subsequently held key roles at Park Hyatt Goa Resort and Spa and Park Hyatt Hyderabad. In these assignments, Rahul played an integral role in driving operational consistency, strengthening service delivery, and managing high-impact dining and event experiences, which continue to shape his leadership approach.
In addition, Rahul has held senior operational roles with Conrad Pune and The Westin Mumbai Powai Lake & Lakeside Chalet – Marriott Executive Apartments, where he managed complex business segments while balancing guest expectations, team performance, and commercial outcomes.
Grounded, approachable, and strongly people-focused, Rahul is known for his belief that great hospitality is built through empowered teams and thoughtful execution. These values have been shaped by his upbringing in Rajasthan and a family background rooted in education and agriculture.
