Prasoon Pandey has over two decades of experience in luxury hospitality.

His elevation from Hotel Manager marks a natural progression in a journey defined by dedication, operational expertise, and a deep commitment to guest satisfaction.

Overlooking the serene waters of Lake Pichola, The Leela Palace Udaipur is celebrated for its ethereal beauty, regal charm, and immersive cultural experiences. As a landmark in The Leela’s portfolio, the palace represents an extraordinary blend of tradition and contemporary luxury—qualities Prasoon has been instrumental in sustaining and enhancing since joining the hotel in 2023.

Having started his career in housekeeping, Prasoon brings with him a unique, operations-led perspective to leadership. His hands-on approach and meticulous attention to detail have shaped his career across renowned hotels and resorts in both city and leisure destinations. Prior to joining The Leela, he held General Manager positions at luxury boutique properties and played key roles in the successful launch of multiple resorts across India.

An alumnus of the Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development (OCLD), where he was awarded a Gold Medal, Prasoon also holds a degree from IHM Bhubaneswar and has completed executive programmes from Harvard Management Mentor. At The Leela, he has played an important role in enhancing guest journeys, strengthening team culture and supporting sustainability efforts, all while staying true to the brand’s ethos of “Atithi Devo Bhava – Guest is God”.

In his new role, Prasoon will lead the next phase of growth for The Leela Palace Udaipur—guiding the team to deliver elevated service experiences, build on the palace’s global positioning, and drive deeper engagement across guest and community touchpoints. His elevation is a reflection of The Leela’s commitment to nurturing talent from within—a brand that believes people are its greatest strength.
