Nibu Mathew joins Hyatt Regency Trivandrum as the new General Manager 

Hyatt Regency Trivandrum has announced the appointment of Nibu Mathew as its new General Manager, effective May 15, 2025

With over 20 years of cross-continental experience in the hospitality sector, Nibu brings with him an impressive portfolio of leadership assignments across some of the world’s most iconic hotel brands — including Hyatt, Marriott, Starwood, Shangri-La, and IHG. Known for his sharp operational acumen, people-first management philosophy, and a deep-rooted understanding of luxury hospitality, Mathew’s appointment is seen as a strategic move to elevate the brand’s footprint in the region. 

Over the course of his Hyatt journey, Nibu Mathew has earned recognition for his strategic acumen and forward-thinking approach to hospitality.
