Minimalist Hotels expands its presence in Varanasi with the signing of new property
Officially recognised as Minimalist Hotel, Varanasi, the new property is set to open its doors for guests in March 2025, catering to the burgeoning demand for premium and unique hotels in the city.
Located in DIG Colony at a 2 km distance from the existing Minimalist Hotel, the second hotel in the city boasts a prime location and will feature 25 elegantly designed rooms to meet the diverse needs of domestic and international travellers.
The decision to open a second hotel in Varanasi is a strategic move for Minimalist Hotels to respond to the overwhelming demands at its current property. This expansion demonstrates the company’s commitment to increase capacity in cities where it already enjoys a strong foothold.
Delighted with the launch, Gautam Munjal, Founder of Minimalist Hotels said, “We recognised the pressing need for more rooms in Varanasi, especially with the growing number of visitors being attracted to experience the rich culture of the city. Our new property not only addresses the upsurge in demand but also solidifies our position as an upcoming hospitality brand in the region.”
“The signing comes at a pivotal time as Varanasi prepares for the Kumbh Mela every year, a landmark event that draws countless pilgrims and travelers to the city every year. We are opening the doors to our new property ahead of this occasion, positioning ourselves to accommodate the increased demand for high-quality stays,” he added.
The hotel is projected to redefine understated luxury in the city. It projects to offer a seamless blend of comfort and style which will be instrumental in strengthening Minimalist Hotels’ brand presence and set new benchmarks in hospitality.
