MANDARIN ORIENTAL PUNTA NEGRA, MALLORCA CELEBRATES ITS OFFICIAL OPENING
The Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra in Mallorca held its official opening ceremony with the traditional ribbon-cutting, at an event that brought together representatives from the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, local and regional authorities, the media, and guests.
The day began with an initial ribbon-cutting during a private ceremony, followed by a reception for attendees and a welcome cocktail party. After the opening remarks, the official ceremony gave way to the traditional ribbon-cutting, symbolising the start of a new era for the Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca as the brand’s first property on the island.
The event culminated with the official ribbon-cutting and the group photo. Afterward, guests were able to tour the hotel’s facilities and enjoy a celebratory cocktail reception accompanied by a full program of live entertainment, which included performances by illusionist Drummond Money-Coutts, Spanish dancers, a violinist, a saxophonist, and live music by Albie Davis’s band, among other acts.
The evening concluded with the unveiling of the exclusive fan for the Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, designed by artist Natasha Zupan, a piece inspired by the Mediterranean spirit and the hotel’s identity.
Among the distinguished guests and speakers attending the official ceremony were: Raúl Guerra, Director of Commercial Strategy at Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, who welcomed guests to the event.
