Malaysia Airlines To Operate Daily Flights, Trivandrum-Kuala Lumpur From Decbember 2025
Malaysia Airlines to boost South India network with increased frequencies and Kerala Tourism partnership
Malaysia Airlines will increase its Trivandrum–Kuala Lumpur service to daily flights from 1 December 2025, following sustained demand since the route’s launch in November 2023. The airline will first add a fifth weekly service starting 12 September 2025.
The expansion comes as part of the carrier’s growing presence in South India and its partnership with Kerala Tourism under the “Look East” initiative, launched in Trivandrum to strengthen travel ties between East Asia and Kerala.
“India remains a key focus market for Malaysia Airlines, and this frequency increase reaffirms our dedication to meeting the growing demand for air travel from South India,” said Dersenish Aresandiran, Chief Commercial Officer of Airlines, Malaysia Aviation Group.
He added, “With daily flights to Trivandrum, we are well-positioned to offer greater flexibility and convenience for both business and leisure travellers, while supporting trade and tourism flows between our two countries.”
The Airlines currently operates 76 weekly flights across ten Indian cities, Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Ahmedabad, Amritsar, and Trivandrum. With the additional frequencies, the total will rise to 77 weekly flights by December 2025.
