Le Méridien Nagpur has announced the appointment of Vinayak Sungar as its new Assistant Director of Food & Beverage.
With a strong foundation in Hotel Management from Goa, Vinayak began his journey at the iconic Goa Marriott Resort & Spa, where his passion for excellence earned him the Executive of the Year Award and a nomination for the Worldwide Executive of the Year – APEC Region.
He has contributed his expertise to leading brands, including the Taj Convention Centre, where his initiatives during the COVID period were recognised and published by the Business Council.
Vinayak’s tenure at Indore Marriott marked another milestone, playing a pivotal role during the G20 Summit and successfully leading a prestigious dinner for 150 delegates in Mandu, 100 km from the hotel—showcasing his outstanding operational leadership.
Most recently, at Fairfield by Marriott Rajajinagar, Vinayak drove an impressive 40% growth in F&B revenue year‑on‑year and achieved the highest improvement in guest voice scores. His remarkable performance earned him the Operations Manager of the Year 2024 – APEC.
