Finnair launches September sale to the ‘World’s Happiest Country’ and beyond

Finland’s flag carrier, Finnair, has launched its new September sale, offering customers in the UK and Ireland reduced fares across its European and Asian network.
Those looking for a traditional Finnish experience in the ‘World’s Happiest Country’ this winter can enjoy one-way fares to the Finnish capital, Helsinki, from as little as £89 from London, £94 from Edinburgh, £99 from Manchester, or €79 from Dublin.

Those seeking an Arctic adventure in Finnish Lapland can fly on the Official Airline of Santa Claus and take advantage of fares to his Official Hometown of Rovaniemi, from as little as £123 one-way from London, £130 from Edinburgh, £139 from Manchester, or €117 from Dublin. Other Finnish destinations offering a winter wonderland experience are also included, with fares to Ivalo, Kuusamo and Kittilä from £123 one-way from the UK and €117 from Ireland. For those chasing the Northern Lights a little further afield, fares to Arctic Norway’s Tromsø start at £149 one-way from London.
Reduced fares are also on offer to a number of Finnair’s other European destinations, with one-way flights to Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius from £104, Tartu from £119, Kraków from £124 and Warsaw from £129, all from London.
Those looking for long-haul travel can take advantage of a number of Finnair’s Asian routes on offer from London, Edinburgh and Manchester. Customers can enjoy return flights to Delhi for £449, Shanghai for £469, Singapore for £519, Seoul from £589 and Tokyo from £709, all from London.
Thailand is also on offer, with return flights to Bangkok from £609 from London and Manchester, or £649 from Edinburgh. Other Asian favourites include Hong Kong from £529, Osaka from £713 and the beaches of Phuket from £659, all from London.

For those planning ahead, Finnair’s newly launched route to Melbourne, taking off from 25 October 2026, is included in the sale too with return fares from £799 from London, £899 from Edinburgh and £919 from Manchester, giving customers an early chance to discover the airline’s newest long-haul destination.

Finnair customers can make the most of the reduced fares when booking flights between 1 and 10 September 2026, for travel between 28 September 2026 and 28 March 2027*. Fares to Tokyo and Osaka are part of a longer joint sale campaign and can be booked between 27 August and 29 September 2026.
