British Airways Appoints Patrice Gordon as Director of Global Sales
British Airways has announced the appointment of Patrice Gordon as Director of Global Sales. Taking up her new post in September 2026, Patrice will lead the airline’s global sales, distribution and account management teams, with responsibility for driving revenue growth and strengthening commercial performance worldwide.
Patrice began her career in finance, with roles at PwC and British Airways, before going on to hold senior commercial leadership positions at Royal Mail and Virgin Atlantic, where she was most recently Director of Commercial Strategy Development, leading the airline’s transatlantic joint venture with Delta Air Lines, Air France and KLM. She returns to British Airways from Eminere, the leadership consultancy she founded.
Her appointment comes at an important time for the airline, as British Airways continues its strategic transformation programme and investment in improving every area of the customer journey. Patrice will oversee an already high performing department, with the airline’s Sales Account Management team, who play a critical role in building and deepening relationships with customers and partners around the world, recently registering an average recommendation score of 4.62 out of 5 in a satisfaction survey.
Patrice brings strong commercial and leadership experience, with a track record of leading successful teams in complex, international organisations.

Patrice will become a member of the Commercial Leadership Team, and report to Colm Lacy, Chief Commercial Officer.
