With an impressive career spanning over two decades in the hospitality industry, Yogesh brings a wealth of technical knowledge, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of operational excellence to his role. His expertise will undoubtedly elevate the hotel’s infrastructure and drive continued success in delivering seamless guest experiences.

As Chief Engineer at Hyatt Centric Hebbal Bengaluru, Yogesh Dongare will oversee all engineering operations, including the maintenance of plant and machinery, energy management, fire life safety systems, and sustainability initiatives. He will also focus on optimizing departmental budgets, enhancing energy conservation practices, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Yogesh Dongare’s professional journey began in 2005 as an HVAC Site Supervisor with Blue Star, where he specialized in testing, commissioning, and maintaining HVAC systems and building automation. He later joined Grand Hyatt Mumbai as a Team Leader and quickly moved up the ranks to Assistant Manager. During his tenure, he was instrumental in setting up engineering departments, executing preventive and breakdown maintenance, and managing major renovation projects. Yogesh then moved to Hyatt Regency Pune & Residences where he held roles as Engineering Manager and Assistant Director of Engineering.

Yogesh’s leadership was pivotal in optimizing energy consumption, reducing costs, and managing routine operations for a large property with 222 rooms and 79 apartments. Most recently, he served as Chief Engineer at Hyatt Regency Amritsar, where he successfully executed departmental budgets, handled profit and loss reports, and led operations with a focus on resource management and crisis mitigation.
