Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway has announced the appointment of Shivangi Gupta as its new Director of Sales & Marketing
With over 14 years of extensive experience in the hospitality industry, Shivangi brings strong expertise in driving revenue growth, market positioning, and strategic sales leadership across leading luxury hospitality brands.
In her new role, Shivangi will oversee the overall sales and marketing strategy for the hotel, with a focus on enhancing market share, driving revenue across key segments, including corporate, MICE and leisure, and strengthening the hotel’s brand presence in a highly competitive market. She will also be responsible for leading high-performing teams, optimising distribution channels and implementing data-driven strategies to achieve RevPAR and ADR targets.
Shivangi’s impressive career spans over 14 years and includes leadership roles with renowned hospitality brands such as Accor and Taj Hotels (IHCL). She has also held key positions at Vivanta Bengaluru Residency Road. Prior to joining the Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway, she served as Director of Sales & Marketing at Taj Yeshwantpur, Bengaluru, where she led the commercial strategy for a premier business hotel. She began her journey with the Accor Group at Novotel & ibis Bengaluru Tech Park as part of the management trainee program.
A graduate in hotel management from the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Goa, Shivangi holds a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Hotel Administration.
