Hilton Chennai has announced the appointment of Paul Kingsly as its Director of Human Resources
A seasoned hospitality professional with over 13 years of extensive experience with Marriott International, Paul brings a wealth of expertise in strategic HR leadership and a proven commitment to fostering exceptional workplace cultures.
Paul Kingsly is an alumnus of Madras Christian College (MCC), where he completed his Masters in Human Resources. He began his distinguished career with Marriott International, where he honed his skills across eight different locations and nine properties in India. His impressive portfolio includes spearheading HR functions for renowned brands such as Fairfield by Marriott, Courtyard by Marriott, Le Méridien, and W Goa. Paul has also played a pivotal role in the pre-opening phases of several landmark properties, including The Westin Chennai, W Goa, and Courtyard by Marriott Shillong. Most recently, he served as the Multi-Property Human Resource Manager for Courtyard and Fairfield by Marriott on Outer Ring Road, Bangalore.
In his new role at Hilton’s flagship property in Chennai, Paul will be instrumental in driving the hotel’s people strategy. His focus will be on talent development, enhancing team member engagement, and cultivating an inclusive and high-performing work environment that is directly aligned with Hilton’s founding philosophy to ‘Lead with our Culture’.
Speaking on his appointment, Paul Kingsly said, “I am thrilled to join the iconic Hilton Chennai and to become a part of the Hilton family. I lead with positive energy, encouraging each team member to recognize and harness their unique skills. Paul is also passionate about impactful HR initiatives, having contributed to country-level projects in talent acquisition post-pandemic and sensitization programs for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).
