Mercure Lucknow Gomti Nagar has announced the appointment of Mohammad Akamal as its Chief Engineer, effective 24th November 2025
With over a decade of extensive experience in hotel engineering and facility management, Akamal brings deep expertise in electrical maintenance, energy management, sustainability initiatives, and large-scale hotel operations. He has previously worked with renowned hospitality brands such as Taj Hotel Ganges Varanasi, Holiday Inn Express, Hyatt and Saran group where he played a key role in ensuring operational excellence and guest safety.
In his new role, Mohammad Akamal will oversee all engineering and maintenance operations at Mercure Lucknow ensuring optimal functionality of hotel infrastructure while maintaining the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
