Starting 1st of April, Malaysia will welcome international travelers.
Â
The decision is an attempt to boost the aviation and tourism sectors, as the country slowly moves towards an endemic phase of the pandemic.
Â
It can be recalled that the country has closed its borders for international travelers for two years.
Â
For fully vaccinated passengers, no quarantine requirement will be imposed upon arrival, given that they provide a PCR test result secured two days before departure and a rapid antigen test within 24 hours of arrival in Malaysia.
Â
For foreign travelers, a completed pre-departure travel form has to be secured, but no need to provide a MyTravelPass permit.
