Dhow and Jeep Tours was founded in March 2004 in Zanzibar (Tanzania) by two twin brothers Hassan and Hussein Mataka. From our humble beginnings, we have grown and expanded into several countries across East Africa.

We now have over 17 years’ experience in the travel business serving individuals and working with tour operators worldwide. We can now offer you a wide variety of holidays and adventures, and look forward to taking you to Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, through Tanzania’s vast savannah to Gorilla trekking in the Ugandan mountain forests. You can also choose safaris on Kenyan plains before finishing your African trip on the magical spice islands of Zanzibar where historic Stone Town and beachfront hotels await.
