DESTINATION: UGANDA
Uganda, often referred to as the "Pearl of Africa," is a landlocked country in East Africa known for its diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes. The main attraction is undoubtedly Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, famous for its mountain gorilla trekking experiences. Visitors can also explore Queen Elizabeth National Park, Murchison Falls National Park, and Lake Victoria, the largest freshwater lake in Africa.
Kampala, the capital city, is a bustling urban center with a mix of modern and traditional elements. The climate in Uganda is tropical, with a rainy season from March to May and October to November. The official currency is the Ugandan Shilling (UGX). Ugandan culture is diverse, with over 50 indigenous languages spoken, and traditional music, dance, and art are deeply rooted in society.
