About us
Helsingborg Convention & Event Bureau (HCEB) works to ensure that strategically important events and meetings are located in Helsingborg.
HCEB works primarily to sell the destination to the meeting industry, sports organizations and to the culture and experience sector. This is to develop the city as a destination through a wide and attractive range, as well as to create important tourist economic effects and growth. The assignment is overall for the destination Helsingborg, which means that HCEB works to achieve positive effects for the destination as a whole, rather than targeting specific facilities or actors. An important part of the assignment is also to work in various ways with so-called Legacy issues and to initiate and activate ourselves in knowledge-raising initiatives that develop the city as an event and meeting destination. HCEB is an impartial, free resource that works to guide the customer / partner to and within Helsingborg.

We are members of the following organizations:

- ICCA (International Congress & Convention Association), which is an international network, for international congresses. In the database, we have the opportunity to search for information about congresses that rotate around the world.

- Swedish Network of Convention Bureaus (SNCVB) is a non-profit association whose members are Swedish Convention Bureaus. The purpose of the association is that Sweden's CVBs have a common forum where they can together pursue important issues for the meeting industry.

- Global Destination Sustainability Movement. A platform that helps destinations identify their strengths and weaknesses based on the UN's Global Sustainability Goals.

- Swedish Network of Event Destinations (SNED). SNED functions as a network for destinations around Sweden that work non-commercially with public event issues.

- Campus Friends . An organization that works for the best possible exchange between students at Campus Helsingborg and the regional business community.

Ownership
Helsingborg Convention & Event Bureau is part of Helsingborg Arena & Scen AB which is owned by the City of Helsingborg. In addition to Helsingborg Convention & Event Bureau, the operations Helsingborg Arena, Sofiero Slott och Slottsträdgård, Helsingborgs Konserthus and Helsingborgs Stadsteater in Helsingborg Arena & Scen AB are included. The company is largely financed by public funds.

Helsingborg Arena and Scen AB are, among other things, tasked with offering the city's residents, visitors and businesses opportunities for culture, performing arts, events and sports. The company must focus on high occupancy and utilization of the arenas.
