Les Perles: côté Pacifique situé à moins d'une demi-heure de vol ou 1h30 de ferry de la capitale se trouve l’Archipel des Perles avec ses 220 îles et îlots de rêves : îles du Roi, de San José, Contadora, Saboga, Viveros… Un Archipel qui doit son nom aux merveilleuses perles autrefois présentes dans les bancs d’huîtres qui tapissaient les fonds marins. La fameuse perle « La Peregrina », la plus grosse jamais découverte, présent qui fut offert à la reine Doña Isabel.

Bocas del Toro
