FOUNDER

Per Ankaer is Danish and was working in the travel and airline business for some years in Copenhagen before starting a chain of DMCs in Southern & East Africa.

When Per moved back to Denmark in 2004, he bought the company ICS Motivational Events, which was in 2016 sold to Ovation Denmark DMC. Per is now heading the Danish Ovation office, which is related to the other Ovation DMC offices around the globe.

Per gets inspired by meeting clients and developing new products always with a focus on sustainability. He is often seen at the trade shows and sometimes as a speaker. He is very much engaged in the local Meetings Professional International (MPI) chapter and is a board member of the Copenhagen Convention Bureau’s MeetingPlace. He likes to be active also outside the office with running, open water swimming and kayaking. He is married to a Doctor and has 3 children, one of them is studying Event Management!
