The current state of the tourism industry is directly linked to the efficient provision of goods and services. In fact, it is the combined efforts of tourism organizations and various private organizations. But what we have achieved today cannot be repeated tomorrow.


At the time of its founding, it was a difficult business, but as we continued to make efforts, small businesses were born and the company began to grow. After five years of hard work, Journey DMC is able to compete with the market. The company was active in the market and the industry was doing well, but after a 7.8-magnitude earthquake in 2015 left cultural landmarks in ruins, Nepal was hit hard by the economy. That year has been a devastating year for the tourism industry and we were hoping for a quick recovery. Soon we redesigned our product to be people focused and powerful.


2020 should be great for Nepal’s tourism industry. A tourism campaign to visit Nepal in 2020 wanted to attract two million tourists to the country. But as the Pandemic of coronavirus rapidly spreads around the world, Nepal’s tourism industry, like that of the rest of the world, has come to a standstill, with tourism officials finding 2020 and the next few years one of the most difficult years. It didn’t take long for the industry to realize what it had to deal with. We had to make it through 2020 with almost zero business. Tourism will start after the pandemic is over, even during the toughest times in the history of the tourism industry. In 2021, after all the safety protocol guidelines by the government, we were able to attract some tourists. And now in 2022, we are rebuilding our statistics and coming back and doing strong.
