MRG Group has announced the appointment of Amitesh Osta as its Chief Human Resources Officer
Amitesh brings with him over 17 years of diverse experience across FMCG, retail, and consumer businesses. He joins MRG Group from Metro Cash & Carry India, where he served as Business Head – HR, partnering with the COO to shape the company’s people strategy, drive large-scale workforce reorganizations, and lead change management at Metro Cash & Carry India.
In a career spanning leadership role with Anheuser-Busch InBev, Johnson & Johnson, and Hindustan Unilever Ltd., Amitesh has earned a reputation for building future-ready organizations, strengthening succession pipelines, driving M&A people integrations, and embedding robust employee relations frameworks. His expertise spans HR strategy, talent management, organizational design, and digital transformation of HR operations.
