A 68-room five-star mountain hotel at Cota 1400 in the Bucegi Mountains is now open under the Radisson Blu brand. Set within a historic building dating back to 1939, Radisson Blu Hotel, Sinaia Cota 1400 combines contemporary alpine hospitality, direct access to the cable car and ski slopes, and a premium wellness offering, bringing an internationally branded luxury hotel experience to one of Romania’s most iconic mountain destinations.

The hotel brings together several distinctive experiences: panoramic mountain views, contemporary alpine dining, direct access to year-round outdoor activities, and FORÊT KITSUNE Spa & Wellness, creating a destination designed for leisure escapes, wellness retreats and corporate events in every season.

Located on Strada Cota 1400, Radisson Blu Hotel, Sinaia Cota 1400 occupies a unique position in the heart of the Bucegi Mountains, directly beside the cable car connecting guests to the ski areas between Cota 1400 and Cota 2000. The hotel provides convenient access to hiking trails, skiing and outdoor activities throughout the year, while remaining easily accessible from Bucharest.

Inspired by contemporary alpine design, the interiors combine natural wood, stone, warm textures and earthy tones to create welcoming spaces that feel connected to the Bucegi Mountains. Most rooms and suites offer panoramic mountain views, while selected Standard and Premium Terrace Rooms feature private terraces overlooking the surrounding landscape. All rooms include complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi and the premium comfort and thoughtful details guests expect from the renowned Radisson Blu brand.

Dining & Bars
The hotel’s dining experiences celebrate contemporary alpine hospitality through locally inspired flavors, seasonal ingredients and welcoming social spaces.

COCON Restaurant is the hotel’s all-day dining destination, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner in a contemporary alpine setting. Led by Executive Chef Romică Harabagiu, the menu combines premium local ingredients with contemporary European cuisine, featuring seasonal dishes, premium grilled meats, freshwater fish and refined desserts. Guests can also enjoy an extensive selection of Romanian and international wines, Champagne and thoughtfully paired food and wine experiences.

TONIC Bar & Cigar Lounge offers a relaxed setting throughout the day, from morning coffee and afternoon aperitifs to evening cocktails. Signature drinks inspired by the surrounding mountain landscape, premium spirits, fine wines and a dedicated glass-built cigar lounge create a welcoming social space overlooking the Bucegi Mountains.

Opening later this year, STUDIO 1400 Après Ski & Terrace will become a vibrant meeting point beside the hotel’s ski facilities and cable car connection. Serving casual American favorites, pizzas, cocktails and seasonal drinks, the venue will also host DJ sessions, seasonal celebrations and private events throughout the winter season.

Guests can also enjoy in-room dining daily from 7:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m., with a menu offering international favorites alongside vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free options.

FORÊT KITSUNE Spa & Wellness offers guests a relaxing mountain retreat inspired by Japanese wellness traditions and the natural surroundings of the Bucegi Mountains. Spanning approximately 700 square meters, the wellness facilities include an indoor heated swimming pool with hydrotherapy jets, an outdoor heated pool overlooking the mountains, private treatment rooms, saunas, a hammam, steam bath, saline room, experiential showers and spacious relaxation areas.

Guests can enjoy treatments using OSKIA skincare products alongside rituals inspired by forest botanicals, alpine herbs and Japanese wellness traditions.

The hotel also features a fully equipped fitness center with Technogym equipment and a retractable glass roof, allowing guests to exercise while enjoying fresh mountain air and direct access to the spa terrace.
