Minos Palace Resort, Crete, Unveils New Infinity Lagoon Suites
Following resort renovations in 2025 that included the introduction of the Nao Longevity Hub, Greece’s must-visit wellness destination, Minos Palace Resort in Crete is delighted to now unveil the new Infinity Lagoon Suites for summer 2026.
Exploring the relationship between architecture, water and landscape through a spatial concept grounded in fluidity, privacy and connection to place, the Infinity Lagoon Suites are a brand-new accommodation option at Minos Palace Resort that mark the final stage of the ongoing transformation of this five-star Cretan resort. The architectural vision was conceived by owner Gina Mamidaki in collaboration with Dora Giakoumi, Project Developer and Engineer of Bluegr Hotels & Resorts.
Sleeping up to two guests, the spectacular suites offer 180-degree views of the Aegean Sea – best enjoyed from the private outdoor terrace and daybeds. The suites also include a private freshwater pool, king size bed and generous living spaces with a walk-in shower, walk-in wardrobe and double vanity.
All suites are connected by a shared-lagoon style pool that flows seamlessly between private and semi-private pools, offering a blissful balance between seclusion and community, and merges architecture with the surrounding landscape. Also designed to echo the serene landscape, the lagoon features two sculptural islands embedded within it, mirroring the two islands visible on the horizon beyond the resort. The horizon is not only framed but reinterpreted with architectural composition, creating a mirrored relationship between the immediate guest experience and the wider seascape, carefully created by landscape artist Greenways.
More than just another accommodation type, the new Infinity Lagoon Suites offer a contemporary stay experience that embodies a living reflection of place, with interiors by Maria Souliou. Materials are rooted in the island’s cultural identity, with organic geometries, curved forms, locally sourced stone, reflective water surfaces, and Mediterranean planting that create an atmosphere of calmness and understated luxury. Floor-to-ceiling openings maximise light and uninterrupted views, while integrated outdoor living areas extend the suites into the natural setting.
The launch of the new suites follows a complete redesign of guest rooms and suites, the reception, food & beverage outlets and the introduction of Nao Longevity Hub in 2025. This transformed Minos Palace Resort from a linear, inward facing structure into an extroverted environment where nature, water and art co-exist. The result is a contemporary environment where architecture acts not as an object within the landscape, but as a natural continuation of it.
A luxury adults-only destination, Minos Palace Resort is on a private peninsula that resembles an island within an island. With wellbeing at the heart of the experience, guests can enjoy seasonal dining with menus supported by integrated science alongside custom sleep, nutrition, health and fitness plans from the Nao Longevity Hub. The resort also offers a range of authentic land, sea, wellness and conscious experiences, providing a tranquil getaway for both relaxation and exploration. Activities include everything from luxury yacht cruises and private dining experiences to cooking classes, sound healing, yoga and meditation, waterfront picnics and herbology and mixology workshops.
Nightly rates for an Infinity Lagoon Suite from £422. To book, visit: https://www.minospalace.com/accommodation/infinity-lagoon-suite-with-private-pool/
